4 Things We Hope Happen On Katy Perry’s Witness Tour

As much as we love summer at Popmania, we can’t say we’re not totally excited for the fall season to officially start! We’re ready to break out the sweaters and boots, sip on a Pumpkin Spice Latte, and start putting together our Halloween costumes. BUT the one thing we’re most excited for this fall is the start of Katy Perry’s Witness Tour.

KP released her fifth album Witness in June and announced her upcoming tour with special guests Noah Cyrus, Purity Ring and Carly Rae Jepson. Her tour will kick off on September 19, in Montreal at the Bell Center. We all know Katy is the ultimate performer and with the first date being just days away, we couldn’t help but start to day dream of all the awesome things we can expect to see from her on tour! So here are four things we hope to see from Katy Perry’s Witness Tour this fall.

Amazing special effects: Katy Perry is a performer unlike any other, we can think of some of our top fave performances EVER and they def include her! So we know this tour is going to top anything we’ve seen from her before. Remember her performance at Super Bowl XLIX when she performed “Roar” on the animatronic Lion?! We’re still dying over that almost three years later…

Incredible costumes: Katy is known for always look on point when she’s on stage so we know, this tour is sure no different. One of our faves was her 2013 VMA performance when she was dressed in that fab boxing outfit! We’d be lying if we said we didn’t try to recreate it for Halloween.

Never before heard songs: We’ve been jamming to “Witness” since it was released in June, but we can’t say we’d be mad if she dropped some new heat. Maybe a song with one of her openers?! Hey, we can dream right?

Surprise guests: Okay, Okay, we’re starting to notice a pattern here…KP is known for a lot of things. But we love her and we don’t care who knows it! Katy has done collabs with some amazing artists and she’s been incorporating  a lot of hip hop into her music lately. Both Migos and Nicki Minaj are featured on this album, and we can’t say we’d be mad if either (or both), of them popped up for a tour date or two.

We can’t wait to see what Katy comes up with this time around! Are you and your squad gonna hit up any of Katy’s tour stops? Let us know when and what city in the comments below!
